Wow, a few errors in that discussion about the bulls and bears in the Investors Intelligence Poll there from InvestmentHouse. In actuality the number of bullish newsletter writers fell last week as bearish writers must also have joined the correction camp because they fell too.

Never in the history of this poll has there ever been a period of time where the ratio of bulls to bears was as persistently 3-1, or more, like it has been so often over the last few years.

I have said it before... the Investors Intelligence Poll is most useful for calling impending market bottoms when normally bullish advisers finally become bearish to the extent that we see more bears than bulls in the poll. Nothing even close to this has happened since 2011.
