Hello Mitch: "Marty, why in the world did he ever get involved with the Aussies, much less give them a free hand? Do you have any idea?"
Only Dr. Stamm knows the answer. My speculation is that the Aussies promised funding and management expertise to complement Dr. Stamm's technical expertise. They did provide cash, but the management expertise they provided mismanaged the funds so the Aussie contingent's contribution was a wash.
When you looked at their IMMM bios back then, they sounded impressive. I suppose that when Jesse Taylor vouched for Peter Boonen, that may have been all Dr. Stamm needed. Jesse Taylor is extremely well respected and his failure to double-check Peter Boonen's business resume may be one of the few mistakes in his career.
What is so hard to believe is that none of those guys, bothered to pick up the phone to make a local call and do a little research on Mr. Boonen. If they had, he would never have been considered as a director.
The good news is that the company is pursuing Mr. Boonen et al via a civil suit. They have restructured the company. They are bringing on new management with strong control. They have re-established their crediblity with UPR. They have a long term gas gathering relationship with KNE. They have income. They are in discussions with BR. And they have several international projects that they are pursuing.

Where else are you going to find a company that is valued at $1.07 a share in capitalization selling for $0.12 a share? You don't find discounts like that often.
