Rich, I think we all know MSFT make MOST of the money OUTSIDE of the OS. It is a HOOK and a KEY to everyone's bank account. I said it before, MSFT is so rich today, thanks to nobody BUT SUNW and whoever made REAL workstation. Not that INTEL/PC will not catch up, but it HAS BEEN SUNW's work station providing the INITIAL hardware/semiconductor advances the last 10+ years. Life isn't fair, but that's how it happened. Sunw should have paid much more attention to the OS business, like they are trying to rectify now. Kind of late, isn't it? Nevertheless, sunw admits the mistake by taking corrective action recently to stay alive from NT attack.
