It was the keyboard, not the mouse... I even did a factory restore and it still had problems, a crappy Lenovo all in one... so I bought myself a nice powerful HP desktop and huge HP monitor to make myself feel better, it's all up and running now, it's noticeably faster and doesn't even blink...
