Fine Rich, you can express you dissatisfaction with how people
treat MSFT just as well as Mac lovers can express theirs about
treatment of AAPL. In either case, not relevant to the thread.
What is relevant is that it is clear that MSFT has made a mistake
in handling this case, and that it is going to affect their bottom
line somehow, and that investors in MSFT who are curious about
future valuation of the stock ignore this situation at their own
peril. If you had recognized this problem as it was rather than
as you wished it to be, you could have made real $$$ on the recent
$20 drop in price, or at least hedged your position with puts.

For myself, as I previously mentioned in this thread, I read the
bump above $140 as a time to get out, and I think now some people
know why.

Nevertheless, long term, I suspect MSFT will do fine, but it may
do it differently.
