A very good memory, and about 8 years of college/med school studying biological/medical science 18 hrs/day, along with some chemistry and physics, maybe a foreign language, and maybe one US history and one Civics class, to meet graduation requirements. No critical thinking necessary. When he retired, he had time to start watching Faux, and... he has a good memory. Your explanation makes sense.........with such a good memory, critical thinking usually follows. I guess not with this guy.
