You know Bearshark, A month ago I was posting my forecasts for December saying there would be weakness through mid-month... and interestingly enough, my VIX indicator gave a partial SELL signal... which is usually no big deal. What IS a big deal is that the market was down over 250 DOW points and yet the VIX only peaked at 35. I was expecting over 40... which would have shown MUCH more fear! This market is NOT acting like I expect it to... but IT is right, not I. So I am beginning NOT to trust my scenario for 1998... the bear MAY come sooner rather than later. BWDIK? Bill
