There is also the cost issue. A while back I spoke with a CFO of a mid cap recently and was told that an American listing would add at least $1 Mil to their annual listing costs. Apparently it has something to do with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Why not just uplist to the TSX (for now)? Very little additional cost and from what I understand, trading TSX stocks isn't a problem for most Americans. In DAP's case they get the added benefit of the U.
