Be very careful about indicating insider information from employees, expecially from this organization. Zoltek has made all employees sign confidentiality statements including rights to tap phones, etc. Got two former FBI people to implement the program to find out where the leaks were.

First, you're just going to get people in trouble, unnecessarily. No one wins by giving insiders as a source. Secondly, one would think if the information were untrue, they wouldn't be reacting in this manner. (Sort of like fifth grade child psychology) And finally, for those of you who called the company, it took me 15 minutes to stop laughing. That would be like asking Clinton's lawyers about the Paula Jones case. Bennet was on TV disavowing the bent shape of our leaders privates two days before two more bimbos testified under oath that Paula's description is correct. Of course they give you the answer they want you to have. I recall being told in April 96 that the lines were to be producing in June, which was the second delayed date for the added lines. Well it's Dec. Wake up.

I will make a clarification. I may have incorrectly posted the words explosion. Those were the specific words used to describe the situation to me, but upon reflection, I believe that would highly unlikely, although not impossible. And requests for clarification have not been answered yet. The most likely firey event would be a fire in the oxidizer which is common. Having said that however, don't underestimate the seriousness of fires. Carbon fibers give off cyanide gas during final carbonization. Preheating fibers by fire in the oxidizer could be catastrophic if enough fiber is involved. As Zoltek is using much larger fiber tows, they are in uncharted territory.

Regards

Jake
