Now, they have a long way to go. But a project like this in the heart of Iraq is astounding. A new, modern city that would never have happened under Saddam.

Rebuilding Iraq is a very long term project and it was undertaken by a president with a very long-term view.

Had ISIS been prevented, as it should have, and if it is shut down even now, there is every possibility for a positive outcome to the Iraq War, even 20 years from its inception.

We should not allow the country to collapse into this disaster just because we elected the wrong guy in 2008/12.
