I do some PPT presentations using a TV screen hooked into my laptop with and HDMI cable. The image on the TV does not fill the whole screen and it is at a different aspect ratio. Is there some way to tell PPT or the TV or my laptop to display the same as the TV?

I hope this makes sense. It is not a big deal, but I see other folks do it on the same TV and it uses the whole screen.
