Sure, earnings were only 5% short of original expectations. But think about it this way: Original forecast was for $.59 vs $.49, or 20% growth. Actual results were $.56 vs $.49, or 14% growth. Thus the growth rate, which is what many people use to value stocks, came in about 30% shy of expectations. -Steve Stuart
