Hi Tony: If you look at the link I provided you, you can see the institutional holdings.

stocksmart.com

There is only one instutution which owns quite a bit of Lattice (I think about 11%). They tend to hold based on (1) company continued performance and (2) for a longer time period two to five years. I believe as long as the company reports good numbers and resonable earnings growth, they will continue to hold. If the company has several quarters of bad earnings, then watch out below!

From my review of the financials, I chose Lattice as a long term investment three to five years based on their consecutive positive earnings report and growth. I see this company as a growth company with 1/2 the preminum. The growth numbers I provided were for earnings and I probably need to update them. I get these numbers based on the annual report and First Call estimates.

Go through some of the previous posts on this thread and you can see the discussion we had on First Call estimates for 1997. They seem to be on track to meet or exceed these numbers.

Good luck with your investments. I still see Lattice as a $60 stock by the end of 1997. I will continue to hold. I am thinking about maybe selling December $40 calls but want to see what the book to bill ratio is for September.
