Ted, I love Germany and its people, but what does that have to do with a guy who is unabashedly admitting to being a deadbeat on his school loans and blaming everyone but himself for his financial situation?

Because his attitude is only off based because of your preconceived notions of how it should be. In fact, Germany does it exactly the way this guy wishes it was done in the US.

So he wants college to be free. It's pretty close to that for community colleges and most state schools,

No, they are not anywhere near to being free. Their classes are not as expensive as private colleges but they are still expensive.

but he CHOSE to go to a small, expensive liberal arts college and accumulate degrees that aren't paying the bills.

So he's not that smart.........big deal.

The point still stands that the US is a first world nation that presents like a third world one.
