Hi Al: It sure sounds attractive and I will have a look at BYG and AKA
but I would rather find out the production cash costs per oz of BYG if you know it.

I have just started looking into Santa Cruz Gold SCG TSE. It's a company on the rebound, they merged with a company called Newmex: (excerpt of a press release)

"This merger creates one of Mexico's largest development and operating gold mining companies with forecast annual production
growing to approximately 100,000 ounces in 1999 from two mines.
The Lluvia de Oro gold mine is expected to produce approximately
25,000 ounces of gold this year. Construction of the Magistral
mine is expected to commence this year with anticipated start up
in mid 1998 at an annualized rate of 75,000 ounces of gold.

Combined proven and probable reserves are in excess of 650,000
ounces of gold according to independent studies. Total resources
stand at approximately 1.5 million ounces of gold. In addition to
the two mine projects, Santa Cruz's four advanced stage Mexican
exploration projects - El Escobal, Quitovac, Palmarito and the
recently announced acquisition of the Sindrome de Piedra project -
will provide the Company with the potential to significantly
increase reserves and production."

This junior producer trades around .30 and seems to be a good prospect. Need to do more work on it.

Best regards

Guy
