I am currently shopping for an upgrade to my Samsung S3. Leaning to the S4 Note. Buying a phone today is comparable to shopping for a new car. There are so many deals and prices that it becomes difficult to make a selection as you never are sure if you got the best deal. They change every week, but as with all tech you can't wait forever. Then there is the decision on the best carrier as they too offer different options and the reception service becomes a consideration depending on your primary location. No offer is static as you can often negotiate. It is not an honest process that has set prices for everyone where the market is extremely competitive. When I talk to friends the disparity in their cell phone costs are amazing. Oh, and some of them were sucked into a 2 year contract while prices drop. Others are in a lease/buy plan where they are paying double for what they should pay to buy a phone. The whole scenario is ugly.
