If you have the HDX version of Kindle you should be able to get a live person help on your screen by just clicking help. The help tech will actually show their face on your screen while they talk to you. You can see them, but they can't see you. Have used it on my wife's HDX many times and it works well, If necessary that person will also take over your Kindle and fix what you are not able to understand. You shouldn't be embarrassed by asking questions here. We are here to help one another. Nobody knows everything, but collectively this is one really well informed group.
