>>>> While we do expect an active exploration/drilling program in 1998, specific plans have yet to be laid out and until this is clarified, we might see Ashton in a holding pattern. <<<<
Jesse, IMO, re D.James is recommending a hold. If Ashton proceeds with 1000+ bulk sampling, rest assured that this hold will change to a strong buy. If indeed, they don't do well with their 1998 specific plans, Ashton will revisit the $3.00 - $4.00 range on a quick selloff and a slow rebound. As for the others juniors in Alberta, a 20%-30% will also occur. Not proceeding with 1000+ bulk sampling on K14 and K91, indicates that the sample results don't merit a commercial mine. I know D. James style, if Ashton does well with the sampling and 1998 plans, we'll rock and roll. D.James is a very powerful analyst. I listened to him for years, and made lots of $$$ with Diamet, Aber, Southernera. Another analyst who is well respected in diamonds is J.Hainey.
What do I predict?
1000-2000 Ton Bulk Sampling on K14 and K91. Yes, I am optimistic and believe that Alberta may become a commercial mine before some other junior companies exploring for diamonds in NWT. If I am correct, Ashton will be accumulated by not just Canaccord but a few other brokers. I know for a fact that there is lots of CASH being held by Institutions, including fund managers. This money will be placed in the new year. Who gets most of the money? That will depend on who brokers/analysts are betting will have the next producing mine. Lots of companies out there. Will it be Ashton? IMO, Yes!
That is my input for the day, you all have a good weekend, and if you won't be around on Monday, Have a Merry Christmas! |
