Ray:

Nothing against CTXS management. They've done a great job with MSFT and they are firing on all cylinders (they are also conservative, a good trait if your a long term investor). I'm sure they'll do well. I only question the continuing growth rate. Once it slows down (I doubt this quarter but maybe by end of 1st of 98) you know the monumentum players will jump and the multiple will drop.

I started following WIND from one of Judy's post. She knows more on the stock than I do but you should check out Alan Benn's (I think thats his name) posts on the wind thread for some background. The stock has some great prospects. A tie in with INTL (licensing deal) will make 98 a great year.

ARSW will not be as big a star but will also do well. They have a tie in with IBM that starts to kick in in the 2nd qtr that will really drive sales.

Both are software so high margins for good profits.

I like Csco,Sunw,Ctxs,Intc with more risky turn arounds like Ascend, fore and possibly SGI.

We've talked about Fore b/4. I don't trust management, ditto with ASND. Sorry to hear about ASND hope you can recover (I have a similar problem with INTC). Of course I like MRVC and its managment and look whats happened to it (shows what I know).

Hey New England is a great place to be in in my line of work. I can't enjoy this time of year outdoors anyway.

Best regards,

Tim
