>>> If consumers think that
Windows is difficult to use, they will have a heart attack if they try to use UNIX based NC's

I don't think you get the concept of NCs. It is not a question of whether they are UNIX-based, Mac-based, PC-based, VMS-based, or MULTICS-based. The NC's operating system is transparent to the consumer. They don't have to install anything, and so certainly maintenance is easier. And to whether the apps themselves are easier to use, that is yet to be seen. I have run lots of easy-to-use UNIX, graphical applications. I don't think that you have any UNIX experience to even have a guess as to how easy or hard it is, although that lack of knowledge never seems to stop you from forming an opinion anyhow.

use? how about database? Presentation program?

Do you know the answer to these questions? Have you compared products, and on different platforms?
