Just wanted to check in and say "Happy Holidays" to everyone and hope that 1998 starts out (and ends) better than 97 is ending, relative to our drillers. It would be unbelievable if it could get any worse! Anyway, all the best to everyone.

Also, I had a different perception than Thean did in the referenced post re: growth rates. He stated that " the land drillers are supposed to have the highest growth rate in 98 versus others". I thought it was the deepwater guys, so I checked First Call, and as of 12/15, here's what they had, for the drillers I follow. FYI. (EPS 98 vs 97)
Land
UTI - 84%
PTEN- 64%
NBR - 48%
PDS - 25%

Deepwater
RB - 112%
RIG - 103%
NE - 91%
DO - 73%

Others
FLC - 72%
CDG - 64%
RDC - 48%
SDC - 53%
ESV - 54%
