Dismissive? As we bear into El Nino, maybe someday you'll realize the irony in dismissing that the Earth's temperature is controlled by the oceans and only the oceans. As the drought in Texas and Oklahoma have been extinguished, you dismiss the natural connections with the Madden-Julian Oscillation and the contrasting warm Pacific and cold Atlantic Oceans.



As Atlantic sea-surface temperatures plummet, you dismiss the irony of blaming cold SST's (and the winter polar vortex) on "melting" Arctic sea ice when the Arctic sea-ice has been gaining (getting stronger) for the past 3 years.
