ALL, last post of the night. I listened a little earlier to some excerpt from an interview with Mr. Rubin (Treas.Sec.). He was asked what he thought about all this stuff going on today and if he felt that Asia is going to put us out of business. (I made this out of business up gg) Anyhow, he said that Asia will take a little time but that the fundamentals in our economy are still great. He couldn't comment on those wild fluctuations on the market today but felt that the market should be doing fine once everybody realizes that the fundamentals are still well. (this is about as close as I can remember the excerpt. Your brain function diminishes when you have to go through a day like today) On NBR an analyst from A.G. Edwards is still cautiously bullish. He thinks we should be able to make it to 9200 next year. For the ones with good cardiac function he is recommending CPQ. He thinks good money can be made on this stock. That gave my heart a jumpstart again. gg. He also recommends oil services like R&Bates. Oh well, I am sure that you all listened to NBR and I want to watch CNN now. I am late. So you all have a very good weekend. Margaret, I will open my good bottle of wine tonight. After this comeback it's almost like having gone up 200 points. So there!!! Cheers. Sonny
