I would look into purchasing your own modem and router. Our cable modem gets one IP address from the cable company, then internally the router assigns IP addresses through DHCP, we have had over 30 devices connected at once without issue.

Can you post some screenshots of what your router interface looks like? The page with attached devices in particular...
