Francis,
Yes, GPGI does try ones ability to hang in there!! Six days ago there was a gap upward in the price and the stock has moved down to cover that gap. As you know, gaps are usually covered either up or down. Not to say that there is a change in the price trend. Only to say that it has covered the gap.
In my opinion, it will take cash receipts greater than those announced today to move the stock significantly. Progress is progress, however. Procedures will be revised and processes fine tuned and greater returns will be had. I have no doubt of this. Detractors will say that we fell on our butt and in many respects we have. There was severe dissapointment when there was no refined metal shown at the meeting in Nevada, and the announcement of smaller than expected returns from Engelhart West was also disappointing. Both can be viewed as good progress, they just did not meet expectations.
GPGI is the stock that is in the trenches for the DD's. They are attempting to make the greatest step. That step is production of heretofore unproducable, unconventional ores. I fully expect many failures. What they are attempting to do has not been done in our experience. It is more complex than the average investor can imagine. There are severe technical problems to be overcome. I deferr to my friend Michael Wendell on that subject.
Will it be done. Methinks yes. That is the question for us investors here. If you feel that It will be done and you feel that the properties that GPGI has are worthy, then carefully invest here and on any lower price breaks. If you do not, either sell here, or carefully wait for upward price movement, then exit. It seems rather simple, but it is a difficult thing to do.
What I know about investing, I learned trough mistakes. I have made them all. I have also repeated many of them. The problem that I have with this stock is that I am emotionally envolved. One should not do that. One reason that I am emotionally envolved is the tremendous potential that I see for these unconventional resources if they can produce what they have. There is and will be increasing demand for the PGM's and I will not name which ones because I do not know which will be eventually most valuable once their potentials are realized. They are all unique and have unique properties. I could go on and on about that, but I will not. Suffice it to say that their ultimate usefulness to mankind is not yet fully understood.
I realize that I am being a really, really rambling Jack and will stop now.
Really, Really Rambling, Jack
P.S.--Seasons Greetings to you and to all--May the coming year be a better one for all!! |
