The most interesting thing about that Fools article is that after all his tough e-mails and not backing down from his stance, he finally capitulated. He admitted that there was no warning, just one analysts interpretation of the meeting with BAY:

Bay Networks (NYSE:BAY - news) issued statements at an analyst meeting interpreted by some attending as negative

I'll give him credit for finally bashing on COMS a little - they must have sold their position recently. He did noticed that BAY is going to overtake them in the systems sales and pointed out that that is an interesting development.

Don't think he's a bad guy, just got a little cocky with the rapid influence that those Fools have generated. Maybe he'll do a little self-reflection and find out its OK to be wrong.

Just my thoughts!
