That doesnt matter. His announced goal was to trigger a race war. No doubt he was fueled by StormFront.org. His middle name is Storm, so no doubt his parents were egging him on from an early age. He isn't looking for publicity for himself, he sees himself as just another footsoldier in that long, twilight struggle against the brown races. Yeah, an insanity plea ain't going to cut it no matter how much wingers on this thread wish it were true. Roof’s deranged manifesto is evidence showing that Roof was not in a delusional state during the shooting. Given the content of the manifesto, it’s pretty clear that Roof’s murders were primarily motivated by ideology and not psychosis.
