one major difference between the semi and networking stocks, netorking stocks have stated their problems, and so can be fairly judged to be in a malaise as you have stated. i would disagree with you that semis have not been hit hard.

i would agree with you if/when semis start announcing canceled orders they will receive a double whammy. the reason i say "if", is because there is no guarnatee new equipment will not be wanted to help export out of the current problems.
