The question that entered my mind is, "Wouldn't it be most cost effective to do it differently?" And I concluded, I guess not, or they would do it.


Not perfectly humane, but certainly far better. I will buy nothing else but free ranging and organic. If you are not you are a heartless AH and stupid relative to your health...because in order to survive and produce in the deplorable conditions shown in that video the hens are fed hormones and antibiotics...consumers are eating these...I don't want to eat eggs that badly.
