Of course if God wanted to create the universe and everything in it in 6 seconds He certainly has the ability to do exactly that. Time and Space are limits to us because we exist in Time and Space, God has no such limits. It looks like you hold to some form of Theistic Evolution as a result of being convinced that the universe is billions of years old. To me these estimates of the age of the universe are overly fraught with wild extrapolations, based on unexamined and un-proved assumptions. You are quite correct to note that the Bible makes no explicit claims to the age of the universe.
