I was just responding to the supposed health benefits of eating organic, not the morality of raising animals for meat.


I am not even going that far...if you chose to eat meat you should be aware of the hormones and antibiotics and pesticides you are ingesting. if you are not aware of this issue you may want to do some research. But to be more nuanced, raising animals that are slaughtered for meat humanely is what I am talking about.

I also wonder if that pig had been a dog instead.


It makes absolutely no difference. Animals are our stewardship. Dogs, cows, pigs...whatever...wild or farm raised....we have a moral responsibility to treat them humanely, not as depicted in that video showing the caged chicken.
