<<When was the last time you can recall a CEO going to jail for lying?
Barb>>
Three that immediately come to mind are "Crazy" Eddie Antar of Crazy Eddies, a NYC Metro area electronics retailer; the people, whose name escapes me who ran College Bound, an educational testing preparatory service in south Florida; and the CEO of ZZZZZBest, a southern California company that was run by a very young and ambitious man who went to jail and came out to go on a lecture tour, presumably a changed man. I forgot their names but they all were CEOs of their companies and were jailed for fraud. Let me add a fourth that I just remembered, Charles Keating of Lincoln Savings Bank in Arizona.
The risks in committing a fraud of the magnitude that some of you imagine are enormous for many of those involved with this company. In the absence of any proof, I cannot believe that these successful people will risk all, to knowingly perpetuate a fraud. Just one of many of the short arguments that just don't make sense. I include in this the management and directors of Zonagen, many of whom are wealthy individuals, the medical experts who have made positive, public comments, PPD Pharmaco, a respected testing organization and Schering -Plough, who would never knowingly involve themselves in a fraud.

You didn't look very hard. Try: asensio.com;
The site doesn't say that this is a comprehensive lists of all of his recommendations. If you go to his home page, he has a selection called Selected Performances, that just hypes his winners. I acknowledged in my response to you that you might be correct about his track record this year, or you might not, but if you were, then he is overdue for a loser, since no one is perfect. I am pretty confident that he is wrong on this company. Barbara, you, Dale and a few others are exceptions to what I am about to say, but many of the loudest arguments here actually detract from the ability of a sober observer to take the short position on this company seriously. There is precious little aside from repetitions of the same unproven assertions, and failure to address any detailed questions put to them. They do all the things which they falsely accuse the longs here of doing. Bill Wexler and his amen chorus are the true hypsters here. |
