Thanks Dale, wish I had seen the interview. I have no doubt they
and many others could squeeze every bit of CPU power Intel could
produce. I can't wait! Not just as an investor but as a computer
user. People who think the status quo is acceptable will be amazed
of what can be done once they see it. Take graphics for example,
Heck, even the mainstream so called 3D video cards can't do texture mapping. Can you see the improvements a 400 Mhz PentiumII MMX2 promises?

The other day I read something here on this thread from a nay sayer
explaining that all he needs is an OS that syncs like UNIX so he
won't lose his files when he powers down abrubtly. That's all he needs
he said, not faster CPUs, backing up his claims with some erroneous
Unix sync related scenario. Phew! What lack of vision! :-)

I have a question, will a 400 Mhz Pentium II with a 100 Mhz bus
be enough to encrypt and display a DVD video at 24 frames per
second in hi resolution smoothly (without the aid of special
mpeg cards of course).
