The only thing going on is the absorbtion of this way too expensive acquisition but other than that BORL is going to have a pretty easy time filling their bottom line. Corporate intranets will continue their expansion as Java continues to go forward -- they are now claiming competitive performance with C++ in Java 1.2 and that's not surprising. Even the throw-away business from IBM and Oracle will keep BORL shares well fed. Now, they have to continue to enhance their development environment and their collateral material is still the worst in the business, but the immediate problem is the price of this VSGN buyout. I think Oracle needs to buy BORL to compete with MSFT and IBM and that's without taking in to consideration the fact that they already depend on BORL technology.
