Those who rail against the South of years ago and General Lee should pray that they and we will be so lucky as to have a General Lee when America needs him. There are few people in America who have that genteel quality as did General Lee and the early land owners of America. The naysayers should look to those who fought for this nation after the Civil War. WWI and WWII were fought so that not only America but that others might live. We no longer have war in America------------we have physical war now from without-----those who would destroy America as New York was attacked on Sept. 11,2001 by the terrorist Muslims-------the people killed in the plane in Pennsylvania-----the bombing of the Pentagon. Those who are the naysayers who slander the people who formed America-----should express their appreciation for the fact they as individuals exist today. And, everyone must recognize that the world is becoming connected via communications-------what seems to be the truth may not be the truth. It is like the old game of gossip. mj
