LOL. France has gone full retard on Keynesian policies and they are a disaster. Truth is I'm a bit flabbergasted by the ignorance in this country. All things move in cycles. Right now, we are in the cycle of denial. Keynesianism is a palliative drug that Americans are taking to quiet down their anxiety about what they know is true, that namely this country is fucked and we did it to ourselves. At the end of the day, no financial chicanery can conjure up the magical cure to reverse mathematical laws. Massive debt slows growth. It is axiomatic. Money printing and low interest rates are not sustainable and they destroy currencies. Loss of faith in fiat currencies destroys savings and ultimately entire economies. We are hurtling towards a wall and the only solutions you get from the Keynesians is that we need more money printing, negative interest rates, and more stimulus. Never mind that those things haven't worked and all evidence points to those things being the same as throwing gasoline on a fire. But a focus on what's good for this country has never really prevailed in the halls of power. Rather, it is all based on who gets paid. Congress and Obama are bought and paid for. That is why we have what we have. Plain and simple.
