These f***ing analysts and institutions with their moving power will dry up all money if you believe that their actions shadow their statements. I just posted a while ago today expressing complete astonishment that how could these jokers upgrade the stocks of chip equipment makers when the currencies of their biggest customers where they sold 50% of their equipment had lost half the value (hence cutting their buying power) potentially leading to major order cutbacks and revenue decelaration ?? Now we finally have proof. So rest assured while the retail investor was buying AMAT, NVLS, KLAC, LRCX etc in light of the upgrades today the big boys were unloading within this buying strength. WHY ???? Read this news.com And to top it all up, Micron was upgraded to a Strong Buy by Goldman Sachs !!!! I mean you dont even need to make any extrapolations with this one. The Japanese and the Koreans are openly saying that memory prices will come down further. Coincidence ??? Further proof to the analyst vocabulary as someone posted a while ago: Strong Buy => We need to sell so you need to buy. Sell => We have sold long ago but now that the obvious news is out we need cheaper prices so we are asking you to sell. Remove from (some bogus) recommended or focus list => Dont really have any substantial material but want to scare people anyway to create trading opportunities. May the contrarian in us live and learn. -hitesh
