Luck is a strange word in that it really doesn't mean anything. Trump's dad made money. I know nothing about it, him but there is a good chance that whatever he made, he worked hard for it. My dad did, and he worked harder because he wanted to be able to provide things for his family. I suspect Trump's dad did the same. Don't discount the importance of it.

My dad on a small scale, created jobs -- over his lifetime, thousands of people worked for him -- almost all teens and poor people. Last year, the last employee of his business to survive him died, and she had been there for more than 40 years. That has value, and that my nephew has been able to keep that business running, and running well, is worth something.

People who earn money are not usually just "lucky". They do it for a reason. Seldom is that reason altruistic but it almost always benefits other people.
