I will be watching this one . It will be an interesting one to watch. This because P&G's Gillette and Energizer holdings have many directly competing brands. IMO It most likely will not be a value stock though. It's more likely to be a speculative appeal type of company. This spinoff should give this part of the Energizer Holdings business a higher valuation as a stand alone company IMO. From my memory, Warren Buffett saved Gillette from the Bass Brothers. He eventually received P&G stock as the company was later acquired by P&G. He most recently bought their Duracell business as P&G tries to concentrate on a new core growth brand strategy. He's now scaling down his P&G stock holdings. IMO this spinoff fits a Buffet type of branded company.
