I don't know who the idiot was who wrote that post.

But the MM attack on the Hockey Stick was based on the fact that statistics were sloppy. Beyond sloppy. Incompetent.

With crucial observations dummied up, poorly engineered software that incorrectly computed the centering for principal component analysis (which was pointed out by a leading expert on the subject back in 2004), and a general refusal to be forthcoming with the data Mann used.

One big fat lie. If he didn't have something to hide he wouldn't be hiding it.
