Also as hot in 1935.


These are how surface temperatures are recorded around the world...near airports surrounded by concrete. 100 years ago, it was in farms and fields. Now urban areas surround the stations.



Here's one in Melbourne, Australia.


If there's a record high in Tucson, just adjust for "heat radiating off of concrete".
