What is supposed to trickle in Span or Portugal?

Spain has been in an economic depression since 2008 because they have a very weak central government which has very little debt yet can't borrow because they have very little taxing authority, which rests with regional government.

Portugal remains the same sleepy place it has always been - sort of like New Zealand where most school graduates have to emigrate to find employment unless they're unusually skilled at milking sheep. Lisbon was almost the center of the world in 1500, but not today - in spite of the replica of the Golden Gate bridge which spans the opening of their bay.

It's going to be an interesting week . . . in Greece.

Greek banks have only about one week of Euros left before the ATM machine have to begin dispensing a new specialty product from De La Rue Company or nothing at all.

The days of the Greek Tea Party refusing to pay their taxes is coming to an end. Their only alternative would be hyperinflation with a new currency which devalues daily.

As my Grandmother said of the Great Depression, "It was still warm and sunny in Los Angeles."
