Dearest Tee, I watch a number of "development stage" biotech stocks, just to gauge the veracity of the quotidian IMMU excuse whenever the stock tanks on a day like this ("it's the market"), and as always, we are the leader on a down day. Other similarly-situated companies are down between 2.5 and 4% (and by "similarly situated," I don't mean one wherein the CEO got the job by being the mistress of the COB,* but rather, those that have not brought a product to market).
What days like this really drive home is just how frustrating it is that because of the incompetence and corruption of IMMU's management, the company did not participate in the biggest bull market of biotech stocks ever. Had we done that, and were now getting beat up a bit like every other company, this would be easy to take with a shrug of the shoulders, but because IMMU merely tread water for years, we participate only the market's correction.
* There I go being "derisive, hateful and name calling" again, according to a poster who joined here just over a year ago, and thus has not suffered both the rapacious mendacity, and almost unfathomable incompetence of, the Goldenbergs for a decade or more. |
