The reality is that many of us liberal Dems and moderates live in a bubble and think that the Trumps are somehow embarrassing to conservatives.

To plenty of Republicans, Trump is an iconic American hero, especially on meme-setting RW talk radio, 7x24.

Do not underestimate his ability to promote effective smears and fears toward Clinton AND Sanders. And Obama.

We the People always underestimate clowns on the right. Its a tradition (see Bush43 and a long list of others.)
