Commander Resources (CMD-V) July 9, '15 announces the appointment of Robert Cameron to the Board of Directors, effective July 8, 2015. Mr. Cameron has over 30 years of international experience in the mining industry. He was the Chief Executive Officer (and President until Aug 2010) of Valley High Ventures until it was sold for ~$120 million. He was previously Vice President and Manager of Exploration for Phelps Dodge Corporation of Canada Limited (a subsidiary of Freeport McMoran Copper and Gold Inc.). Mr. Cameron has extensive market and finance experience as a former Mining Analyst for Research Capital. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Bearing Resources Ltd. Mr. Cameron is a graduate of Carleton University and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
