I think the Greece deal is mainly helpful for the European markets. There shouldn't be much upside to the US markets although they may rally somewhat. The real threat to our markets is a slowdown in global growth particularly China. SOX is usually a leading indicator of this and is already down 14% from its high. Commodities have also weakened. Unless we hear strong forecast from companies this earnings season, a correction is inevitable. Caution is clearly warranted. If the market rallies friday/monday on Greece that may be a good time to go short.
