The people of Greece should have kept their money in Swiss Banks.. They wouldn't be facing their Government seizing their financial assets. Like the article says.. Fool me one.. Shame on you, Fool me twice, Shame on me.. Well, they tried to fool me once, but they sure as hell won't have the opportunity to "Fool me twice".

For Greece, it's 'fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me'
The Bank of Greece has put limitations on how much money could be taken out of an ATM machine; about 60 euros per day. Imagine if you walked up to your ATM and there was a message on the screen that your limit today is $60: How secure would you feel? In addition to limits on ATM withdrawals, the government also put restrictions on money that could be exported out of the country for whatever reason.

As it relates to the taking of deposits to satisfy debts, Greek banks might plan to take about 30 percent of deposits in excess of 8,000 euros, according to the Financial Times. (A Greek official denies this.) I believe this is just an opener, and most likely they will go higher. What concerns me is that the difference between Cyprus and Greece is the starting point; the number people affected will be much higher in Greece. There are a great many more people with deposits of at least 8,000 euros in Greece than the number of people affected in Cyprus with 100,000 euros in deposits.
