So you are the one full of shit. They refused to cooperate later, too. They were executing on their plan to deny Obama any victories at all. Remember McConnell's plan to make Obama a one term president? For anyone to contend that the republicans were and are anything but a disruptive force is INSANE. Chuck Grassly, who was on the Senate committee working on Obamacare would go through the motions and give the impression that he was cooperating, only to go home on week ends and blast the effort. State after republican state refusing to implement parts of the law. They have brought suits against it, they have voted to repeal it dozens of times, they have tried to defund it, they have maligned in every imaginable manner, gloated at every painful deployment corner...death panels, congressional inquiries on supposed security flaws that never materialized, every imaginable prediction of doom. I tell you what, I lay at their feet the consequence of every person who, for lack of knowledge, has not signed up. They have long since lost the right to bitch about anything related to the law...including any increases in rates. Al
