I see it. $0 deductible. Takes a while to review this stuff. approx. 650/mo. It didn't register because its hard to believe you can get that plan for that price and be 60-64 years of age. If I was you I'd jump at it.

The first year the plan cost ~$450/month (no subsidy) I was 62 at the time. The subsidy cut off was ~ $46K. I'm retired and so can manipulate my income over a very wide range. I decided to postpone taking SS until 70 and put off cashing in my two IRAs (regular and Roth) until I'm 65 and 70. What's left is simply investment income ( interest, dividends, and stock option premiums) which that year I limited to about $23K. At that income level I got a $240/month subsidy and so only paid $210/month premium. This year, they jacked up the premium to about $540. (+17.5%) So, I simply sold fewer options and limited my income to about $20K......I get $347 in subsidies and so pay about $203/month premium.....Yearly expenses above the very modest $20+K levels are simply paid out of cash ...of which I'm largely in now anyway given my take on world economics......I expect next years premium to go up between 15% and 20% again.. The numbers I quoted are for the not for profit platinum plan from Heath Republic of NY. A similar plan from a for profit insurer would probably run about 30% more. Note though that as I've said from the very beginning, these rates from Health Republic are TOTALLY unsustainable and are so low only because of the huge `$250+M startup stash the govt gave them.. I believe they have largely gone thru that cash already and will be in trouble by next year's end. So,I expect 2017 to be very interesting for them. Fortunately for me I'll be 65 that year. Serenity now!

......note that the govt probably thinks I near destitute, just scraping by, and a loyal Democrat based on my income level and subsidies. I'm even surprised the Ds haven't contacted me
