*** Only FIVE shopping days left ***
I'm sure most of you are out fighting the crowds, frantically searching for the last Ghia Pet on the shelve, the Clapper and " Tickle my Elmo "
"Ahem, sorry, that must of been last years hot number ! "
On another front, we've all survived another year although we have lost a few diehard Tribyites......Keiko had a few chest palpatations and almost assumed room temperature.( more on that later.) Trinity is trading in that stubborn range between $ 2.00 and $ 3.00, just about where it was the last time the Jolly One visited. Bah, and as the saying goes, HUMBUG !
For the rest of you who chose a different investment idea such as Financial stocks, Merchandise stocks such as Safeway ..Costco...Wal-Mart....well, your left with the remaining gift selection at your local Porsche dealer,( I like the White ones)....the ladies also like Gucci Boots and Calvin Klein jeans.
Just in case your not all aware , Trinity had their annual Xmas bash last night in a downtown Dublin Hotel..Over 400 guests were invited and they shared the annual shindig with three other companies. I'm sure the Guiness Brewery has been working overtime to catch up with the demand. We would also presume there would be an increased demand for the Therapeutic version of the traditional Irish breakfast......Excedrin on the side please ! I am not sure if any of them were spotted taking their morning constitution in the Wicklow Mountains.
We are all hearing stories of a new Trinity facility in County Wicklow in the delightful town of Bray, just 20 kilometers ( 12 miles) south of Dublin. I am presuming they plan to create an additional 100 jobs at the Bray location and consolidate the Centocor Diagnostic division in Ireland. The company has also decided to announce any new FDA submissions after the Holiday period since all of you folks are so busy decorating the house and spraying the kids with fake snow
When I visited Erin last spring we stayed in Bray and drove down into Greystone, , Arklow and up into the Wicklow Mtns. thru Avoca. A very nice place to visit......

As we all look back on the past year we all reflect on our blessings. Santa arrived a little early this year for me in the form of Dr. Ravi , a wonderful Cardiac Surgeon who with help of Genentech's TPA got me back into running condition after a very frightful time.
The Best to all of You in 1998 !! This is a very special Xmas for me........ |
